Introducing Our New Webinar Series

New Opportunities for Planning and Collaboration


WPG launched its webinar service in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic to help institutions of higher education navigate the available federal aid. We are excited to introduce a new webinar series aimed at addressing the pressing issues facing higher education leaders today.
Unprecedented times require unprecedented strategies and new approaches to novel challenges and concerns. Within the current political climate, the ‘Big Ideas’ posed will certainly result in a ‘Big Impact’ on education—and on higher education, in particular. The WPG webinar series will provide a setting where options for addressing these critical issues can be discussed.
The webinars will be held virtually. The remote format will enable us to recruit a wide variety of experts and extend our reach.
Our inaugural webinar, Managing Change in Higher Education: Strategies to Endure Uncertain Times, was held on March 25, 2025. Attendees participated in a lively frank discussion with Dr. Joseph H. Silver, president of Silver & Associates, Dr. Belle S. Wheelan, former president of SACSCOC, and higher education expert, Dr. Eurmon Hervey, Jr. The session focused on how higher education leaders can respond to negativity, be prepared to fend off outright attacks, and to help their institutions remain competitive.

Our Firm's Registrations

The Wesley Peachtree Group, CPAs, (WPG) is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. We obtain permits to practice in other states as needed. Each state has its own rules regarding such registration. However, most states have adopted accountancy mobility legislation and, with some exceptions, we may practice in those states from our metro Atlanta office without specific registration requirements.

WPG is registered as Murphy & Company, PC in the State of North Carolina.

AICPA Peer Review

WPG is enrolled in the AICPA Peer Review program, which is administered in cooperation with Georgia Society of CPAs. Our firm is required to have a system of quality control review every three (3) years. Our most recent peer review was conducted in 2019. We received a rating of "Pass," which is the highest possible rating. A full copy of the report is available here.
